Jayne's specialty areas are couples navigating recovery from betrayal/broken trust; high conflict styles; conflict-avoidant styles; couples with substance abuse recovery issues; transitioning to parenthood or couples parenting school aged children. For individuals, Jayne specializes in working with individuals navigating any of the above in their relationship; or those who have symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger management; work/life balance issues. For families, Jayne works with adults and their families around issues of family conflict or estrangement.
With over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, she has a deep understanding of issues such as couple intimacy, conflict resolution, and trauma recovery. Jayne employs evidence-based mindfulness techniques and is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which enhances her therapeutic approach. Her academic background includes a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University and a Master's in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, showcasing her diverse skill set. Jayne's holistic view of therapy emphasizes the importance of relationships and family systems in individual well-being.
