Frequently Asked Questions:

Are you seeing clients in person or virtually?

I'm currently seeing clients virtually. All virtual sessions are conducted through a secure HIPPA-compliant platform. I'm looking to open up in-person availabilities in the next couple months.

What insurance do you accept?

I am currently paneled with BCBS PPO (Blue Choice PPO Preferred, Blue Choice Options, Professional Blue Choice PPO), Aetna, and Optum (United Health Care).

If you don't have listed insurance and would still like to work together, my out-of-pocket fee is $170 per session. I will assist by providing a "superbill" (an itemized receipt) for you to take advantage of any out-of-network benefits your insurance plan offer.

What can I expect from first session and length of treatment?

Personally, I tend to use the first session and sometimes the second session to collect information and form an evaluation. By no later than the second session, we will create a treatment plan together. This will include specific goals, general steps as a roadmap, and identification of the topics we need to address during treatment.

The length of treatment will depend on the severity of symptoms, treatment history, goals for treatment, and level of commitment.

How do I know if we are a good fit?

I offer a 15-minute video consultation to discuss your needs and assess whether I will be able to provide the best support for you. Due to my background and expertise, I will always direct you to the appropriate level of treatment or provide additional referrals if we are not a good fit.
